“Choose or Die” is a perfect entry point into genre for younger viewers, one that will also satisfy old school diehards even as it takes some pointed (perhaps deserved?) jabs at them. The film opens with a scene of domestic strife: A mother and son argue heatedly as Hal (Eddie Marsan) eavesdrops from his game cave in a detached state of apathy. Overhearing the accusation that “he’s living in the ’80s,” he boots up the old desktop and a green skull logo appears announcing the name of the game, Cursr, complete with chunky graphics that evoke early computer technology....

Series stars Matt Ingebretson and Jake Weisman (who, along with director Pat Bishop, created the series) have always faced down the vein of drudgery inherent in the Comedy Central show’s premise with a helpful counterbalance. As Matt and Jake, the two conveniently-named upper-middle management executives at the world-devouring corporation Hampton DeVille, the pair have found sparks of energy in an environment that could have slid into sameness. Those tiny flickers initially sparked from simmering rage against a crushing force, but the prevailing attitude guiding this farewell season came from a slightly different place....

After debuting on HBO in 2001 and completing 110 episodes to date, “Curb Your Enthusiasm” stars “Seinfeld” co-creator David as an over-the-top version of himself in a tongue-in-cheek (and merciless) depiction of his fictionalized life. Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, J.B. Smoove, Cheryl Hines, Richard Lewis, Vince Vaughn, and Ted Danson will also return as series regulars....

Periwinkle Entertainment is the company through which Johansson, who is suing Disney over box-office losses incurred when the film was put on Disney+ and in theaters simultaneously, offered acting services for the film. Essentially, Disney’s lawyers are trying to keep the lawsuit behind closed doors and out of the public eye. And in a statement that followed on Saturday, Johansson’s lawyers responded with strong words about what they believe to be a “misogynistic attack” on Disney’s part....
