Netflix is coming off a major 2020 with huge Oscar contenders (David Fincher’s “Mank” and Spike Lee’s “Da 5 Bloods,” among others) and record-breaking streaming tentpoles (Hemsworth’s “Extraction” holds the record for biggest Netflix original film debut with 99 million views), but its 2021 slate looks in prime position to be even bigger. The video kicks off with Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds touting their spy epic “Red Notice,” which will no doubt be one of Netflix’s biggest draws in 2021....

As revealed in the final scene of the premiere, the decorated U.S. Army member — who’s also known as U.S. Agent in Marvel comics lore — is revealed to be the United States government’s chosen successor to the original Captain America (played by Chris Evans)....

The U.S. premiere of Park Chan-wook’s “Decision to Leave” is also headed to Fantastic Fest, and the director will be in attendance to accept a lifetime achievement award for his mind-bending body of work, which includes films like “Oldboy” and “The Handmaiden....

The three-act play was originally written by Italian novelist and playwright Stefano Massini before Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes mounted a London stage version in 2018 and a Broadway version last year. The New York production won five Tony Awards, including Best Play and Best Director Mendes. Zeller will write, direct, and co-produce the series under his newly formed banner Blue Morning.
