As the burgeoning colony of humans threatens to be torn apart by religious differences, the androids learn that controlling the beliefs of humans is a treacherous and difficult task. While the trailer offers nary a hint of religion, it more than makes up for it with its forbidding retelling of “The Three Little Pigs” fable — it’s more intense than that statement suggests — and brief shots of terrifying violence and visceral action....

Hutchins died on the set of the Western film “Rust” in October 2021. Her widower, Matt Hutchins, supports the new documentary, helmed by Emmy-nominated director Rachel Mason (“Circus of Books”). Julee Metz is producing for Story Syndicate. The yet-untitled documentary will feature Hutchins’ never-before-seen personal archives to capture her childhood on a remote Soviet naval base to her adolescence in Kyiv, Ukraine. The celebration of and tribute to Hutchins’ craft will also examine circumstances on the set of “Rust,” the Alec Baldwin-led indie film on which Hutchins was fatally injured, and the emotional journey of those involved in the completion of the film....

The “AHS” star and frequent Hulu collaborator is set to lead Searchlight Pictures’ horror-thriller “Dust” for the streamer. Based on co-director and “Westworld” writer Karrie Crouse’s script out of Sundance Writers’ Lab, “Dust” is set in 1930s Oklahoma where a young mother (Paulson) is haunted by the past as she encounters a threatening presence and takes extraordinary measures to protect her family. Crouse and Will Joines co-direct the feature after previously collaborating on short film “Propagation....

However, the series does aim to offer a deep-dive into a grisly triple homicide that was allegedly caused by a Sasquatch decades ago. Hulu recently released a trailer for the project which is directed by Joshua Rofé (“Lorena,” “Swift Current”). Hulu’s synopsis for “Sasquatch” reads: While visiting a pot farm in Northern California in 1993, investigative journalist David Holthouse heard a story that still haunts him. On a nearby farm three men were torn limb from limb in a savage Bigfoot attack....

The series’ cast and crew felt “Schmigadoon” came to signify far more than they anticipated. “There’s an idea that musicals are fluffy and, in a lot of ways, this show was intentionally fluffy,” said series creator Cinco Paul to IndieWire.
