This is the man behind the terrible “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi,” so that the entire plot of this one hinges on the city moving heaven and earth to rescue a naïve policeman seems on brand....

“We reshot a couple things — maybe three scenes, or something like that, because we thought we could do them better.” Tony Gilroy said. “We had a better idea and we were given the opportunity. [But] we do not have deleted scenes. There would be no DVD extras on our platter. Zero. It’s really weird. Very weird [and] very surprising to us.” In fact, according to the Gilroy brothers, there weren’t even that many examples of places where scenes moved around or the structure of episodes was adjusted in the edit....

The teaser for Season 4 hinted that Earn (Glover) finds some type of happily ever after with his on-again, off-again love interest Van (Zazie Beetz) while putting out fires from international rap star Alfred aka Paper Boi (Brian Tyree Henry) and pal Darius (LaKeith Stanfield)....

The studio has tapped RaMell Ross, an Oscar nominee for the documentary “Hale County This Morning, This Evening,” to direct the film, and Ross also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Josyln Barnes (“Zama,” “Memoria”).
