The subject of Netflix’s “Inventing Anna” series reached out to “Saturday Night Live” star Chloe Fineman after her “SNL” impression of convicted con artist Delvey went viral. Delvey, who remotely hosted an art show titled “Allegedly” at the Public Hotel in NYC in May of this year, drew a sketch of Fineman portraying her on “SNL.” Of course, Fineman felt like she had to buy it. “She, on Instagram, made a sketch in ICE....

The last blockbuster to exceed every expectation was “Titanic” Guided by precedents, box-office grosses tend to operate in a predictable and narrow range....

The previous high came from 1994, when Brazil vs. Italy drew an average of 14.510 million viewers on ABC. After a 0-0 draw, that one also went to penalty kicks; Brazil triumphed 3-2. “Awaken” was reportedly shot over the course of five years and across 30 countries, yet all that time and globe-trotting effort yielded little more than a dense clip reel of sumptuous time-lapse photography strewn about 70-odd minutes in search of a single unifying idea to justify the journey. Lowe is an undeniably talented astrophotographer who was been churning out time-lapse marvels for over a decade. His 2009 “TimeScapes,” which centers on the American southwest, found a modest Internet fan base when Lowe fought back against piracy, and “Awaken” certainly makes the effort to widen the scope....
The theater will also be implementing a variety of enhanced safety measures, including mandatory masks unless eating or drinking (concessions will be available), socially-distanced seating (thanks to assigned seating, a first for the theater), enhanced HVAC filtration, and increased time between screenings to facilitate thorough cleaning and minimize interactions. The theater will play a variety of new releases and older selections when it opens, including several titles that initially premiered as virtual cinema titles, such as Ousmane Sembène’s “Mandabi,” which first played on the virtual platform in February....
