Selina Kyle, AKA Catwoman, has been portrayed through the years by the likes of Eartha Kitt, Michelle Pfeiffer, Anne Hathaway, Julie Newmar, Lee Meriwether, and Halle Berry (in the latter’s own divisive and critically reviled standalone film). Each has put her own spin on the character, and while Kravitz’s take is no exception, there’s one element that brings her Selina Kyle back to the basics of the comics: Kravitz interpreted her Catwoman as bisexual, which is often how she’s sketched in the source material....

The “Atlanta” creator, writer, producer, director, and star debuted a first look at “Atlanta: The Final Season,” coming to FX and Hulu this September. The teaser shows Glover reprise his role of Earn, side-by-side with on-again, off-again love interest Van (Zazie Beetz) as pals Alfred aka Paper Boi (Brian Tyree Henry) and Darius (Lakeith Stanfield) pop up alongside them. The foursome are walking underwater in a surreal return to Atlanta after spending Season 3 abroad for Alfred’s rap tour....

According to Variety, under this new decision, no actor, filmmaker, producer, or other industry professional can be allowed to attend any events produced by the César Academy, the French equivalent to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. However, said individuals can still be nominated and even win a César award, but can not accept them in person, nor send anyone to speak at the ceremony on their behalf.The decision follows a recent scandal involving Sofiane Bennacer, an actor in the Valeria Bruni Tedeschi Cannes film “Forever Young,” who was included on the shortlist for the Best Newcomer category at the César Awards....
