Created by Julio Torres, Ana Fabrega, and Fred Armisen, “Los Espookys” focused on a group of aimless friends who turn their love of the horror genre into a business where they trick people into thinking the supernatural is real. All three co-creators starred in the series along with Bernardo Velasco and Cassandra Ciangherotti as the Espookys. The show initially premiered in 2019, then went on a pandemic-induced, three-year hiatus before premiering its second season this past September....

Director Guadagnino has voiced his desire for a follow-up film about the affair between Oliver (Hammer) and Elio (Timothée Chalamet). “Call Me By Your Name” premiered at 2017 Sundance and went on to land four Oscar nominations, including a Best Adapted Screenplay win. “I would love to make a second and third and fourth chapter of all my movies,” Guadagnino said in a Variety cover story. “Why? One of the only notable lapses was the casting of a certain green superhero. Edward Norton played the titular role in 2008’s “The Incredible Hulk” before being replaced by Mark Ruffalo in “The Avengers.” Norton and Marvel have offered conflicting accounts of the events that led to his firing, but it was clearly a decision made for logistical reasons rather than artistic ones. The recasting had never been acknowledged on screen until “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” began streaming on Disney+....

Most of the six-episode opening season of the AMC+ drama concerns itself with the goings-on at a lunar colony centuries in the future. Removed from the preconceptions (and mounting strife) of Earther society, the third generation of isolated, AI-guided moon inhabitants have flourished, and are ready to share their secrets with those back on the Blue Dot in their sky. It’s an easy enough premise to grasp, but creating this alternate world of “Moonhaven” meant sifting through an endless number of visual and logistical possibilities....

While filming “Morbius,” Leto reportedly used crutches even during bathroom breaks on set. Per an UPROXX interview with director Daniel Espinosa, “a deal was made” to expedite Leto’s elongated trips to the restroom, with production opting to wheel him in a wheelchair so he would still be in his physically impaired character’s state. Espinosa confirmed the claims to the outlet, saying, “Because I think that what Jared thinks, what Jared believes, is that somehow the pain of those movements, even when he was playing normal Michael Morbius, he needed, because he’s been having this pain his whole life....
