Speaking on the ComicBook.com Phase Zero podcast, Anthony and Joe Russo were asked if there was another superhero they would like to see their “The Gray Man” star Chris Evans play. Their response: Wolverine, the beloved character recently vacated by Hugh Jackman after nine films in the role. The brothers, who directed Evans in four Marvel movies starting with “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” explained why they think Evans should suit up as the “X-Men” icon....

“I mean, I don’t look back on that and think, ‘How dare she do that?’ You know?” Rogen said. “I think sometimes when you read something, when it comes to life it doesn’t seem to be what you thought it was. But it was not some terrible ending to our relationship. She came back the next day to say goodbye. She helped promote the film. LaBeouf’s casting announcement also included that director Coppola’s sister Talia Shire (“Rocky”) will reunite with the auteur after starring in “The Godfather,” along with nephew Jason Schwartzman....

The official Prime Video reasoning is that the “captions are out of sync” for the feature, as well as it containing “offensive content.” The subtitle captions reportedly work on every other platform. The formal Prime Video publishing error response reads: “We aren’t making your title available on Prime Video as it violates our Content Policy Guidelines.” The official Oscilloscope Laboratories Instagram account also uploaded a post decrying the Prime Video censorship, writing, “SHORTBUS is the movie @jeffbezos doesn’t want you to see!...

Christophe Gans, who directed 2006’s “Silent Hill,” based on the first game in the series, was confirmed to direct the film. He appeared in a video message during the livestream to discuss the project. In addition, Victor Hadida, who executive produced the 2006 film, will produce “Return.” Gans confirmed that the movie would adapt the second game in the franchise, which was announced to receive an upcoming remake for the Playstation 5 during the same livestream....
