The answer? Apparently, not at all. “I did not believe it for one second,” Hannity said in a deposition for a lawsuit from Dominion against Fox News and the Fox Corporation, according to the New York Times. The deposition was made public during a December 21 hearing for the case, which sees Dominion suing the cable news giant for $1.6 billion, alleging defamation. Hannity wasn’t alone; according to Dominion’s lawyer Stephen Shackelford during the Delaware Superior Court hearing, “not a single Fox witness” produced anything supporting the claims made against Dominion during their news coverage, and other high-profile heads at the network shared Hannity’s disbelief about the rhetoric the network was pushing, such as prime-time programming head Meade Cooper and fellow host Tucker Carlson....

But since then there’s been little movement until last week when another teaser, actually showing Serratos performing, hit the internet. Now, the first official trailer is here and it’ll make you want to dance. This is the first attempt at a series documenting the life of the Tejano singer who was poised for an English-language crossover before her untimely death at the age of 23. In 1997 director Gregory Nava helmed the first biopic on the singer, “Selena,” starring Jennifer Lopez....

With a non-premium price of $6.99, “The Tax Collector,” distributor RLJE self-reports that it has first weekend rentals over $2 million and played at 129 theaters (mainly drive-ins), where it grossed $309,964. That’s first place among new releases; according to incomplete grosses on Comscore, “The Empire Strikes Back” was #1 overall. But Comscore doesn’t show 34 of the theaters that played “The Tax Collector.” We also don’t know how many of the “Empire” grosses are missing — and will never know, since, like other studios, Disney isn’t reporting reissue grosses....

In the sketch, Lebowitz and Scorsese are brought onto the segment for their comments about New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announcing that indoor dining could resume, at limited capacity, this coming Valentine’s Day in February. A bespectacled Mooney doesn’t say much except get hysterically dumbfounded, while Yang plays up Lebowitz’s curmudgeonly disposition. “I’ve been so bored at home I was about to get married to my cufflinks,” Yang says. “I’ve done so many interviews in front of audiences, I have squatter’s rights at the 92nd Street Y....

Mid-May is normally prime for movie releases. This year, it’s Memorial Day when more prime titles will open. Optimism remains for then, but for now it’s treading water time. The expected much bigger “A Quiet Place Part II” (Paramount) along with “Cruella” (Disney) on May 28 will be a much better test of how close theaters are to providing grosses commensurate with their potential. But a Top 10 of $24 million, with an overall take of perhaps $26 million, remains anemic considering the increased number of fresh films, combined with more theaters plus a general greater sense of safety in theaters....

The show, which airs on Wednesdays, premiered its third season in August. The final episode will now premiere on December 7. The news comes shortly after The CW was acquired by station group Nexstar, in a deal that has been accompanied by several cancellations and endings for many of the network’s series. In May, ahead of the official deal, the channel canceled over half of its scripted programming lineup. Nexstar officially took control in October, with plans to retool the famously unprofitable channel to focus on acquired programming and cheaper original series....
