The company has 20 features and series in various stages of development. Among them are an animated feature inspired by the music of Juice WRLD — one of Spotify’s most popular artists of last year — written by “Daily Show” correspondent Jaboukie Young-White. There’s also “Nuevo Rico,” based on Kris Mercado’s SXSW short and set in a psychedelic future version of Puerto Rico, and an untitled “offbeat, subversive live action-comedy” feature that Quinta Brunson (“A Black Lady Sketch Show”) is currently writing for Sony Pictures....

In June 2020, Netflix announced “Ozark’s” renewal and that Season 4 would mark its end. The final season did earn an expansion, though, bringing its episode total to 14. Seven episodes will be released in the first part, leaving seven more for the second. While fans may not be eager to wait any longer for the Byrde family’s resolution, the split release does allow Netflix to debut episodes sooner — if we waited until all the episodes were complete, the release date would undoubtedly be much further away....

Thankfully, the writers, directors, co-creators, and stars made their decision in time to film a proper ending. Episode 15, “Home,” is a fitting, offbeat series finale, even if the preceding episodes play slightly more melancholic, given the news, and the final scene (which is spoiled in the profile) comes across as a bit sudden. After all, the design of “Pen15” seems counterintuitive to a temporary stay. As 30-something performers playing seventh graders among a sea of actual adolescent actors, Erskine, as Maya Ishii-Peters, and Konkle, as Anna Kone, aren’t meant to blend in with the cast; the actors’ committed performances and entrancing spirit bridge the obvious age gap, amping up the humor inherent to their all-consuming crushes and fearsome friendship while allowing for moments of maturation to resonate more fully....

The announcement of the Innovation Award winner will take place at a new event for the organization, entitled “A Day with the PGA Awards Nominees.” The virtual celebration will be held Saturday, March 20 and will feature panels with nominated producers, as an expansion of the traditional PGA Nominees breakfast which would typically be held the morning of the Awards ceremony itself. The event will also honor the winners of the Sports, Children’s, and Short Form categories, whose nominations were previously announced....
