Once again, Spike Lee serves as executive producer, while Darin Scott co-directed and wrote the last two entries with Cundieff. “Tales from the Hood” has lost none of its relevance today. While the franchise has found an audience on VOD, it wasn’t so easy to make a provocative horror movie about Black life in America 25 years ago....
