The performances in Season 4, however, are on another level. Olivia Colman undoubtedly will get nominated again for Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her work as Queen Elizabeth, and will probably face off against the tremendous debut of Emma Corrin as Diana. But it is in the Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category where the groundwork for a battle is set: previous nominee Helen Bonham Carter, playing Princess Margaret, stands to go up against Gillian Anderson as Margaret Thatcher....

In some ways, this adaptation of Sarah Perry’s 1890s-set novel hovers above it all. Quite literally in the case of the aerial views of the coves and inlets dotting the area around Aldwinter, but also in the way that it shows each of its main characters (both Aldwinter residents and visitors) as just as listless as the tides themselves. There’s Cora Seaborne (Claire Danes), a recent widower looking to use her newfound mobility as a means to pursue her uncoventional-for-the-age interests....

Boba Fett is back! OK, so that’s not the only thing that happened in the latest installment of “The Mandalorian,” but even in an episode that was chock-full of surprises, the legendary bounty hunter’s return was easily the highlight. Like last week’s stellar episode, “Chapter 14 — The Tragedy” gave Mando (Pedro Pascal) an excuse to team up with a fan-favorite “Star Wars” character for all sorts of action scenes while continuing to push the season’s central narrative forward....

Where to Watch ‘The Other Two’: HBO Max It’s telling that Pat Dubek (another unsurprisingly great performance from Molly Shannon) is the hardest-working woman in the industry, but not because she feeds off attention or wants to climb the fame ladder. It’s because she feels bad saying “no.” In a Season 2 filled with perfectly calibrated digs aimed at all corners of the entertainment business, “The Other Two” proved that it also had room to deal with some real emotion underneath....

The film’s content was shocking to some viewers at the time of its release, particularly due to its excessive violence and abundant pop culture references. Both are trademarks of screenwriter Quentin Tarantino, who was a new filmmaker at the time, having only directed “Reservoir Dogs” when “True Romance was released. While the film was directed by Tony Scott and therefore does not count towards the 10 films that Tarantino plans to make, it helped introduce the world to his style before the massive success of “Pulp Fiction” a year later....
