Ryan Reynolds reunites with “Free Guy” director Shawn Levy for Netflix’s “The Adam Project,” starring Walker Scobell as Reynolds’ 12-year-old self. “The Adam Project” premieres March 11 on Netflix. After accidentally crash-landing in 2022, time-traveling pilot Adam (Reynolds) enlists his younger self (Scobell) and his father (Mark Ruffalo) to help save the world in 2050. Adam also has to come to terms with his past while saving the future — and potentially disrupting the multiverse....

Danny, an illegal immigrant who cleans houses, realizes he has information about sudden murder of one of his employers. Over the course of one tense summer day, Danny plays a cat-and-mouse game with the man he suspects to be the murderer. But if he speaks up, he will be deported. He is in a moral crisis – what are the obligations of a man who has no rights in this world?...

“Undine” premiered in competition at last year’s Berlin International Film Festival, where it took home the FIRESCI Prize as well as the Silver Bear for best actress for star Paula Beer. She stars alongside Franz Rogowski, reuniting the duo from Petzold’s lauded 2018 thriller “Transit.” Petzold takes a different approach in “Undine,” with the romantic drama marking a new direction for the filmmaker following a string of emotional dramas with historical themes related to German identity....

Just in the last two months, we’ve seen Britney Spears become the focus of several stories on this apology tour, with social media rallying behind other ladies like Megan Fox. But it’s unclear what director Cynthia Hill’s aim actually is: Is it to deconstruct Murphy’s celebrity?...

“All of my plays take place in a living room,” Eisenberg said in an interview with IndieWire during the Sundance Film Festival. “This one couldn’t, because I wanted to show what it looks like inside a domestic violence shelter to show the complexity of working in the social services sector. And all of that stuff seemed to lend itself to what I thought an original movie could be.” That led him to direct the film himself, and it’s about to hit theaters a year after it premiered at Sundance....
